Experience
Peter Godber has over 35 years’ experience as a chartered accountant and lawyer, with a specialty in providing professional taxation advice and dealing with complex regulatory issues.

He commonly advises private businesses and their owners, individuals and estates. He advises on international transactions and cross-border planning. He also has wide experience in company risk management and corporate governance.

He is a retired partner and tax service line leader at Grant Thornton Australia Limited. He has experience as a tax service line leader at Grant Thornton in the Asia Pacific region.
He is now a non-executor director of several private companies. For almost ten years he was a director of two charitable bodies, the Queensland Ballet Company and The Tax Institute. He has been a part-time lecturer in post-graduate taxation studies and has been a regular speaker at professional association events.
